Reminders that escalate until they’re dealt with.

Your calendar forgets. Your task list shrugs. A normal reminder fires once, at the worst possible moment, and you swipe it away. The task is still undone and nothing follows up.

It gets louder until you deal with it

Every task climbs a ladder. Where it stops is up to you, not the software.

  1. 1A quiet nudgeIt is due. One notification, the way every other app would do it.
  2. 2A firmer pushStill not done. The reminder comes back, and it says so.
  3. 3A full-screen alarmOnly for tasks you mark must-not-miss. It gets past Do Not Disturb, because medication is not a notification.

Quiet hours are on by default, 11pm to 9am. An app that wakes you at 1am about the plants deserves to be deleted.

The part it was built for

Put a partner or a roommate in a shared space, assign who owns what, and when something slips, they find out. The app does the nagging, so nobody has to send the “hey, did you do that thing?” text.

Assigning is a request, not an order. The other person accepts before anything starts nagging them.

The clock lives on the server

Close the app. It still fires.

A sweep runs every minute on the server and decides what goes out. Nothing depends on your phone remembering to wake up.

Finishing it stops everything

Complete a task and the whole timeline halts, everywhere, including notifications already sitting on another device.

You choose what is loud

Must-not-miss is opt in, per task. An ordinary task never rings a full-screen alarm, no matter how overdue it gets.

Your own AI agent can drive it

Procrastitask speaks MCP, so the agent you already use can create, complete and reschedule your tasks directly. Fifteen tools, scoped tokens you can revoke from Settings, and a public OpenAPI spec. No scraping a UI that was never built for it.
